Bachelor's to Master's Dual Degree Program Application

The objective of the Dual Degree Program is to provide qualified Mount St. Mary's undergraduate students the opportunity to earn their bachelor’s and master’s degrees in five years. In order to be admitted into a Dual Degree Program, you must:

Have a minimum 3.0 GPA at time of application. Students must maintain a 3.0 minimum GPA while in the Bachelor’s to Master’s Dual Degree Program.
Minimum of 60 completed credits at time of application. Must have completed at least 75 credits to enroll in graduate courses.
Personal Statement.
Formal admissions to the Graduate School will require completion of all requirements for the bachelor’s degree.

Dual Degree Program Application deadline for Fall is June 1 and Spring deadline is October 1.

Students are strongly encouraged to apply to the Dual Degree Program by the fall or spring deadline. Admitted students may begin taking graduate-level courses during their second semester of year three and year four. The bachelor's and master's degree programs are designed to blend seamlessly, giving students in the Bachelor's to Master's Dual Degree Program a powerful education in a shorter period of time.
